This classic dessert is always a firm favourite and so quick and easy to prepare and cook

All the recipes shown are what we've cooked through The Real Junk Food Project. They require a small amount of ingredients and are designed to use up any bits of food laying around the home. At The Real Junk Food Project we only cook with what we are donated, so we tend not to use salts, peppers, oils, butters and fats. We also never have 10kg of flour laying around our pantries because the recipe we followed said we needed 250g. It's a sustainable approach to abolishing waste food produce, whilst having a positive environmental impact and creating delicious, nutritious and healthy meals at the same time.
