The Real Junk Food is commited to creating a self-sustainable environment through recycling, abolishing waste food produce and composting

Follow our progress and we start our first compost in Doomadgee, QLD, Aus. We have so much food waste scraps, tea bags and egg shells, that we decided to make our own compost to help grow the plants and trees we're sprouting in our Urban Guerrilla garden.

At The Real Junk Food Project, we just can't find ourselves to throw anything away. Follow some of our ideas and tips on what to do with old jars, plastic containers, cardboard boxes and many more 'junk' items in order to become more sustainable and have a positive effect on the environment around us.

We just can't find ourselves throwing anything away at The Real Junk Food Project, whether it be glass jars or cardborad boxes. We're always trying to come up with inspiring new ideas to make something out of rubbisg and waste products. Follow our progress here of the planters we made for our seedlings that are going to be planted in our Urban Guerrilla Garden in Doomadgee using our organically made compost.
